Join Tamara for 25 hours of Yin Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training.
Whether you are a new or seasoned yin practitioner, or a teacher interested in learning and practicing the subtleties of creating and holding a yin space, this session is for you.
Anyone can learn the poses, but it takes an understanding of what the practice can bring to the breath, body, and mind in order to facilitate the softening and yielding required in your, or your student's, practice.
Through the study and discussion of asana, anatomy, meridians, breathwork, and meditation we will craft Yin sessions that are accessible to all body types, target specific areas, and take into consideration modifications using adjustments and props.
We will brainstorm and discuss the creation of space, in the room as well as the body, and practice holding that space, giving comfort and encouragement to those practicing.
This program is accessible to those searching for the skills and confidence to lead a Yin practice, as well as those practitioners wishing for a deeper understanding of Yin.
This program is eligible for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits.
